Hello! My name is Grey Turner. I am a queer, trans interpreter based in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from Portland Community College’s Interpreter Training Program in June 2024 and have since been working and interning full time, primarily in community and performance settings. For the past three years, I have been grateful to be part of Portland’s Deaf community and remain deeply passionate about language access as a key part of disability justice. Currently, I am working towards obtaining national certification in sign language interpreting. I am especially excited about the opportunity to work with the Precious Moments team because of their community-oriented, Deaf-centered approach to interpreting.
